  Fake CNN

  I’ve been receiving a lot ‘email alerts’ from CNN. It first tempted me with a headline about a man-eating python, then another one came telling me to ‘Be a happier person with your family’. How tailored to my tastes, eh? But waitaminute… I never did sign myself up for these news updates. One quick check of the originating sender confirmed my suspicions.

  Don’t be fooled. These phishing spam emails look entirely authentic, and so are the pages the links bring you to. But hidden in the Flash program that it prompts you to download is a malicious Trojan.

  生死事大

   » ‎ 萬法唯心 - Impermanence
  死：學道之人，念念不忘此字，則道業自成。 生：若生西方，庶可與佛光壽同一無量無邊矣！ 參閱《印光大師全集‧冊五》 《淨宗祖師印光大師》 – 在印光大師的思想中有很濃厚的厭離娑婆、欣求極樂的淨土理念。嘗喻言：願離娑婆，如囚徒之欲出車獄，絕無繫戀之心；願生西方，如過客之思歸故鄉，豈有因循之念。大師於自房內書一死字作為座右銘並注題記曰：學道之人，念念不忘此字，則道業自成矣！時時以無常迅速，生死事大為念，可見其求生淨土之深心，確實非同常人。 印光大師說：「無奇特奧妙法則，但將一個死字，貼到額顱上，挂到眉毛上。」參閱《印光大師全集‧冊一》 古德說：「人心不死，道心不生；心還不死，焉得一心？」 印公閉關處佛堂供奉著西方三聖，二只書櫥中存放著印公生前閱讀過的部分經書。一張方桌正面墻上掛著一幅印公親書（複製品）「死」字條幅，細看注釋，「死，學道之人念念不忘此字，則道業自成」，印公將世人最忌諱的「死」字置之當頭，可謂驚世駭俗，然而對早已悟徹生死的大師來說，它恰恰揭示出人生的迷茫，亟需棒喝，時時警愓，只有了徹生死，才能獲大自在，聯想到大師皈依弟子十萬，且其中不乏政要巨賈，而印公生前一向生活簡樸清貧，直至弟子檢索遺物時僅三枚郵票而已的情景，一種偉大人格使他贏得當時及後人的崇敬也就不奇怪了。出於對印光大師的無限崇敬，我們邀請弘法法師一起在印公關房前合影留念。參觀完佛博館，透過一件件法器、法物、佛教文物；一幅幅珍貴的照片，一本本佛典經藏，它們猶如一幅歷史長卷，折射出吳中歷代高僧大德為弘揚佛法鍥而不捨的堅勒跋涉。 虛雲和尚開示錄 – 師示眾：痛論生死事大，無常迅速，一失人身，萬劫難復，此身不向今生度，更向何生度此身之旨。言之痛切，聞者悚然。 「是日已過，命亦隨減，如少魚水，斯有何樂？大眾， 當勤精進，如救頭然，但念無常，慎勿放逸！」

  Should we be honest & true to our feelings in our way of action, or should we choose to consider "the big picture"?

  As children, why are we expected to return? Why do we have to live according to standards imposed by others upon ourselves? 

  Is there necessity in emotional attachments? Is there necessity in building relationships? Are relationships not the result of two intertwined selfish ideas?
