A friend quoted me this Hadith today out of the blue:
20. God’s Messenger, upon him be peace and blessings, said: “O young people! Those among you who can afford to marry should do so, for it will help you to keep your gaze averted and enable you to preserve your chastity. Whoever cannot afford to marry, let him fast; for fasting blunts sexual passion†(al-BukhÄrÄ«, “KitÄb an-NikÄh.â€
*cough* As Imam Al-Gazahli pointed out there are 2 things which will bring us to hell fire, one is the stomach the other one – well…take a guess.
Oh, and continuation to the beginning of the blog, YGG and YSS have finally decided to get married. One of my closest friends are getting married!! Makes me feel old.
