Background
Wang Yan, also known as Yan Gor Gor, was born in southern part of China in 9th of January in 1983. He was raised under his family in Shen Zhen until he was 15. He has a brother who is two years younger than him.
Academic
Wang Yan stuided in Shen Zhen since small unitl he was 15, and he was ranked as the top student in Shen Zhen at that time. He then recieved an opportunity to study in Singapore due to his excellent academic result, which is the cause of both his hard working, perfectional personality and also intelligence. After four years of study in Singapore, he applied to study in western university for higher education and he finally settle in Imperial College of London in department of Electrical and Electronic Engineer. In three years of university life, he has been achieving a honorable results and also recieved a summer internship opportunity in Morgan Stanley in 2006.
Social Life
Wang Yan lived in one of the resident hall in Evelyen Garden of Imperial College in his year one university life. Because Imperial College lack of student hall and therefore he rent a flat with a large group of people since his year two, including Terry Wong, Kamil Shah, Vincent Lai, Xiao Yun, Bernard Wee and Jacquline Lau.
Relationship
Wang Yan started a prospective relationship with a girl from Hong Kong, Livia Lai, in April 2006. Livia is currently studying in Biogchemistry Department in Imperial College as well as Wang Yan.
Organisation
A University organisation named Imperial College Model United Nation is formed by him and the group of people he is living with in year three of university study. ICMUN had been successfully introduced into Imperial College with number of members reached more than 70.
